Megan Seawright - Veterinarian

${name}

Dr. Seawright joined Intermountain Pet Hospital in 2024.

She grew up in the small East Texas town of Lindale where she developed her passion for veterinary medicine living with and caring for a variety of animals as well as working as a kennel/vet assistant at her local vet clinic.

She stayed near home to receive her B.S. in Biology in 2019 from the University of Texas at Tyler then went on to Oklahoma State University to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she worked in Marble Falls, Texas for 1 year before her and her boyfriend followed their dream to live in the beautiful, mountainous state of Idaho (where he was previously stationed).

Dr. Seawright has interests in soft tissue surgery, preventive medicine, ultrasonography and client education. In their spare time, her and her boyfriend are excited to enjoy Idaho’s many outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, camping, skiing, and rafting. She also enjoys playing board games, spending time with friends and family, and watching/attending sporting events to support the Oklahoma State Cowboys, Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, and Miami Dolphins. Currently, Dr. Seawright owns one cat, a Ragdoll Mix named Kiké, that she adopted during vet school, and she is hoping to add to her fur family in the future.
